This request has nothing to do with Embroidery but just hope someone can help or at least my Girlfriend. Years ago My Girlfriend started making a jumper and then put it away. When she too it out again and almost finished to realise she didn't have enough wool. She needs to finish part of one sleeve. The wool is ... Holiday (think it was Big W) 8 ply, 100 Grams, Colour # 932 and Dye lot 1233. It is a pale Blue. On my Note My girlfriend says it came from K Mart and then was $2.24 This was in South Australia. Thanks Carolyn. Wasn't sure if outside of Australia had Holiday. This has been an ongoing thing for a few years now and my girlfriend carries the Label and a piece of the wool with her where ever she goes. I would have either taken it apart or put it away /forgotten it by now.

I have some of holiday 8ply will have a look at it not sure it will still have the colour and dye lot. I am at work at the moment will look on the weekend and PM you...
otherwise I would perhaps undo the other sleeve and make short sleeves or put another color in the sleeves if the pattern blends to that....hugs Sally

Thanks Sally. I am sure the dye lot is not going to be a problem unless it is very different. Like you I would be undoing that part of the sleeves and either making them shorter or putting stripes with another colour until complete.

Thanks to those who have answered and or read my request . I think My Girlfriend will be very lucky if she finds this wool. Then there is no harm asking as you never know what we have hidden away in our stach. She has been looking for a few years now -- hoping.

Thank You. My Girlfriend has been looking for years. Just that we were out shopping yesterday and again she was looking. You should learn to knit. I mostly crochet now.

how much is needed? If I have it.. why I say I might I bought heaps of all the colors that Kmart had and crocheted a queen size blanket in granny sqares and still have some left...hugs sally
