This is ith scarecrow I just finished. I am trying to decide if he needs tied off at hands and feet but I may add tiny pieces of burlap sew shut like straw hanging out but don't want straw.

Thanks and hugs. I have thought that binder jute small would work. Might take few hours to find it I have made good mess in my clubhouse this evening.

Oh my gosh! This is so cute. I love his face and how you've woven the orange ribbon to form his neck. This reminds me of fall back east. Yes, I would vote for some burlap cut into strips and tied off with string. Or how about some rope that you brush with a dog brush. It would separate all the strands of rope to look like straw. Great work.

Thank you! I thought about just head with pumpkin onto a wreath. But I have this thing every critter, creature ought to have eyes,legs, ears, etc. of some kind. So he had to have body and will shortly have fingers, hair and feet.

Thanks and I am one who thinks feet, hands eyes etc. must be on dolls, doll creatures, critters what ever. So he is in process shortly of fixing that problem.
