Watermelon Applique Bib Version 2

It is almost the same except for the "rick rack" is embroidered. It takes much longer but hey, if you don't have white rick rack at home, this works!
I improved the rickrack so it will look real and covers better as I was not completely satisfied with this sample.

Which one do you like better?

I prefer this one as you have already done the rick rack within the design. You don't have to buy extra to put onto it. Great design, by the way. Love Chris, Newcastle, Australia.

I kind of like the bold look of the jumbo rickrack I used in the other one because it's more noticeable and it's faster to do. A little gluing needed. I still need to work on the rickrack here to make sure it covers better.

This is such a great design. It's so hard to chose but I think this one. The rick rack looks like the right size.

Actually, I do like it better. I like the look of smaller rick rack - it shows the green better. Honestly, I smile every time I look at this design!! Nice job!! Hugs, Laura*

A very cute design. What size hoop is required? I would be willing to stitch it out for you. My hoop is 139mm x 180mm. Hugs, Susan

It's for 8*10 hoop. 200*260 I think? Thank you for offering though.

I could stitch it out later this afternoon - I am not at my machine. I have an 8x12 hoop. Hope this might help. Laura

really cute design! I have Viking Diamond so have hoops all the way up to the Majestic. I'd love to test for you but won't be home for another 2 weeks. If that works for you and you still need someone to test at that time, just let me know.

daily laundry probably needs pes format since she has 8*12 hoop. She can test that format for me. If you like, pls pm your email address and I'll send you the vp3 format to test for 8*10 hoop.

It's beautiful and original for a baby, I think damage is too big for my biggest hoops : 5x7 or .8 x9 returning it.
Nice work.

C'est beau et original pour un bébé, dommage je pense qu'il est trop grand pour mes plus grands cerceaux : 5x7 ou .8x9 en le retournant.
Beau travail.

how do you take your pictures? they are so clear and crisp, not mine, I I have taken them head on and scanned first and they just aren't as nice as yours...I hope I am not out line asking this question...Thank you...

Thank you! I just use the Nikon D5100 camera we got when we had the baby. I don't know how to make the best of this camera and usually just use the auto setting. The only thing that I know would help on my part is to keep the hands steady.

I don't quite understand the part about "take them head on and scan first". If you are using a digital camera, you shouldn't need to scan the pictures.
by evie 12 Sep 2013
I only have a digital camera, I think you have a nicer camera.
When I said head on I meant just aim and shoot, but I found if I hold the camera right over the top and shoot they came out better....Thank you very much for the help and advise...
