I am on my 'hobbyhorse' again. Why is it that so many Cuties ask questions in Q&A and never give a thank you or an answer to a reply. So many Cuties go out of their way to help, especially newbies. Why ask the question in the first place? Whew..... feel better now!!!! Sarah.

I ask myself the same question time and again. You don't even know if they have seen the answer given. And some answers take considerable time and effort: looking for sites, taking screenprints to explain, etc. Time you could have used better.
Makes you consider not answering any question, does not it. Which would be unfair on those who really appreciate getting their problems solved, etc.

Exactly.
I'm the same way. I wonder did they see the answer, did they try my suggestion, did it help, did I waste my time??? I don't expect someone to respond to all 38 answers to their question but a simple, "thanks I figured it out" would be nice.

Had the same thought often enough ;o)
I'm still not sure for what Q&A was planned when they changed the layout of the page. I have read somewhere that it was primarily for questions and answers about CUTE (and this would be a good idea as we can see on the recurrent questions) but there was never a explanation about that. Maybe a FAQ would be a good idea (like Sue tried to make in her post but this is something that should be offered form MissVeronika). I often wonder why people post there questions when they search a design or something else.
The thing with the answers and saying "Thank you" or give at least a flower is maybe a "newbie"-thing. Few days ago I was wondering that somebody made a comment in the answers she gets and there was still no single flower given in the comments. I wrote a little note that it would be nice to spread out some flowes cause we love to see our gardens grow. It turned out that this new cutie did not know for what the flowers are and for what they were given or how :o)
Maybe we are here for so long that we take it as a matter of course (yes I'm in the same club *lol*) to give flowers and reply? But sometimes it is good to vent a little before we burst :-)
Hugs to you, Bettina

Yes if you have responded you wonder was it read. Have to admit I sometimes feel guilty for not posting more comments on the postings under the projects tab (although I always leave a flower), especially when you post a project and you see how many respond to it and how much I appreciate it.

I often ask Cuties for help and always thank them for their replies. I check out everything they suggest, they are in valuable to me.

It is people like you who make it worthwhile answering, fortunately the majority are like you! It's the others that gets our feathers ruffled.

It also bugs me to see a question go unanswered, but collecting flowers! Why would 12 or so people give the questioner a flower but not try to help?

I have given a flower if I read it but I don't have time to post and I don't know the answer, and/or I would also love to know the answer.
I am not sure why others also do that -- but at least they are giving flowers...
The nicest thing about giving flowers is that you don't have to "like" the comment. So you can give flowers for the comments that bring tears to your eyes or stir up some wrath and you can give flowers to the posts that make no sense to you whatsoever...
Flowers for this post and for all the other posts I read. :)
Hugs too

I am so pleased that I am not the only one. Immediately I had posted I thought it was silly to let off steam - but I am now pleased I did. **** for you all. Sarah.
