Ok girls my flock is leaving me and coming to see /visit you in the sunny South,please let me know when they arrive.This is at Sutton Bay New Liskeard ,Ontario September 6th .This is were i live all summer and i am standing on a picnic table trying to zoom in on them.Hugs one and all and remember me when u see my babies arriving ok Hugs Carolyn

How will I know which ones are your babies Carolyn? Ha ha ha...we have a ton of these beauties here in Arkansas and some stay all winter as they find lots of folks who feed them generously. Sometimes we even have to stop and wait while they cross the streets. Beautiful photos.

Well mine will be the leaders of course.We can't get close after they learn to fly by the time they get to your house there just plain tuckered out !!!lol hugs

Next year you will have to put purple tags on them. lol We do get geese stay around the mountains on their migratory journey. Have a few that will stay but most move on.

I can't be sure it was your babies I saw last year but one day we saw thousands of them flying over our heads. It was an amazing sight! This was in New Jersey which is on the Atlantic Ocean..

I will let you know when they stop by. Got corn field they usually check out and take a break on our pond. Now I am curious as to where all they do go. The hummies amaze me on their journey. Which they are still here but soon they will be gone.

we have the geese here too, but I don't think they are yours... Do they make many noise at your place too? The farmers are not Always happy to see them, But I think : nature is beautiful. Hugs.Gerry

i am down here in alabama and hoover area close to birmingham is haveing a hard time with your children! they do not understand traffic and rush hour. someone even has painted their car as a goose rescue vehicle to ge them out of the way. but rush hour traffic has been totally stopped a couple of times.our news peoplw have said they are here in such great numbers this year to eat the worms our wet spring and summer have spawned.so they are getting regular meals.lynne
