The good news is, we finally moved into our new home! The bad news is, i fell off the ramp of the truck and broke my wrist. At least it was the left one as I'm right handed. Been pretty rough for me. We were without internet for almost two weeks thanks to Verizon, but finally, we are starting to get settled. Then, the day after I broke my wrist, our car died, may she rest in peace. We still haven't had the chance to go looking for another vehicle. Maurice has been finding rides or walking the couple miles to work. We sure could use a few prayers right now. I sure have missed you all.

Oh dear what a misery, hope everything will go better soon, and hope speedy recovery with your wrist. I know that feeling ( had mine broken and /or in plaster: left 3 times and right 2 time) but please give it time to rest and heal. Hope the car problem will be fixed soon too.Hugs )))))

Thank you! I've never broken a bone before. I can't believe it hurt so much when the doctor set it back in place. I said I'd rather have another baby but Maurice adamantly said NO YOU DON'T!! LOL I'm lucky he was there with me as well as two of my sons. They were super! I really appreciate you guys!!

we have a saying here that "bad thing don't come in one time, but in several". Look at the good things; you moved in your new home; the neighbours will be great; and you will have lots of time to chat with us. Even with your left hand. We are there and send out lots of prayers that everything will settle soon. Take care.

The good news to be thankful for is you have successfully moved into your new place YEH! Also like you said it is the left & not the right so bad that it happened but better it wasn't the right. Good thing the weather has co-operated & that Hubby has been able to get to WORK too. Many are without jobs too. You have many blessings & a mode of transportation will come your way too! Hugs & prayers for you Meri. Loralye

I am so glad you only broke your wrist!
I am sure it doesn't feel like you have been blessed while you are going through so much...
However, perhaps your car was on its way out for a long time and the Lord held it together for you until you finished your move. It sounds like you moved close enough to your husbands work that he can walk and has been blessed with finding the occasional ride. I know hard times feel so dark and lonely -- so I am glad you reached out to Cuties. I will add you to my prayers. I am sure the good Lord is looking out for you.

You may be right! The car has gone through several starters and it didn't die until after I had to go to the ER and after we'd finished the move. He did wait until the necessary things had to be done. Maybe he has a better car in mind for us. Thank you, I really do appreciate the prayers. God always works in His own way. I need to be more patient.

Oh, Meri, I've missed you, too. I'm sorry for your wrist, glad for your move, hate it about your car, but thankful you have a new home and your family. I'll put your healing on my prayer list along with your car. Hugs!

So nice to see you again! Yes, I've come to terms with all that's going on and I know in time all will be well again. I need to be more patient. My wrist is healing so we're back on the right road.

Dear Meri, I'm so thankful that you have moved into your new home, and so sorry to see that you have a broken wrist. I hope that it doesn't take too long to heal. I'm also thankful that your husband's work is not so far away as to walk or ride. Tell him from me it's a good way of keeping fit! I'm sure in time you will find a suitable car and that all things will fall into place. As people have said God's timing is perfect and you got to do everything you needed to do before the car died! Prayers for continued health and blessings, love Chris

If bad things come in threes, you're done. Hope things look up from here!
