Something for me. I always have either white or pale pink towels in my bathroom. DH talked me into grey for a change. Not sure if I like it. Wonderful to be able to embroider a larger design on my (not so new now) machine. Still have the hand towels and face cloths to do. Sarah

Very pretty towels, a beautiful design. Nice to make something for your own use.
I have embroidered 100s of towels, but for myself I only have a few embroidered guesttowels for my downstairs toilet.

While I like white and pale pink, I think your hubby chose well. These are very nice. Was this design on your, 'not so new', machine ?

I think DH was just being his 'practical' self. No Toogie, this is a design I have had for ages. Luckily I have kept all large designs that I liked. Coming in useful now!!

I bought grey towels for my husband to use because no matter how hard I try to remove the marks he puts on them, there is always still a faint mark left there. If I use bleach towels would end up white & would need bleaching nearly every time.

Beautiful and classy. I love the gray color. And pink and gray would be nice too.

He likes the colour (because he choose them) but not too keen on the decoration - oh well!!!

Well, I like the grey towels!! Now you have one more color in your stash to combine with either the white or the pink. I think mixing up the colors for each size and using coordinating designs would also look fantastic... and be pleasing for both of you (for example: grey = bath size, pink = hand towel and white = face cloth, or grey face cloth, or whatever combination you like).

Have fun with it, and get your DH to select a few designs (that you also enjoy)!!

Thank you for your comment. The grey and the pink do go well together. I am afraid that DH is not really interested in my embroidery - which is absolutely fine with me. LOL.

Gosh, those are terrific towels! What did you use for the stabilizer on the back? You could put both colors in the bathroom so that the grey would be for your husband and the pink for you.

Thank you for your comment. The towels are very thick. I never hoop towels, too scared of braking a hoop. I hooped very thin tearaway and then used spray adhesive to stick the towel to the stabilizer. I also used WSS on the top.
