This piece belongs in an Embroidery Museum. The Sewpy is the predecessor to the embroidery machine. You use a stylus to trace around the design and the platform moves the fabric to create the design. I am having a yard sale, and still do not think I want to part with this. It looks like it has never been used.

Thanks. I have never seen that site before and there was lots of interesting stuff as well as the Sewpy. What a treasure!
I feel a whole lot better about my $15 purchase that I will never use! Thank you! I will hold onto it... in case!
