Just finished up a Halloween style-Pineapple quilt block pincushion. The size is just under 4" when finished. The back has flaps that close. I made a bit larger muslin pillow, filled it with poly fiberfill and Slip stitched it. Then I slipped it inside my pincushion. I think it turned out really sweet...I mean SPOOKY!

I hope my Halloween Swap partner likes it! I sure do!

Beautiful. Love your idea of the secondary fill pillow. I have worried that my slip stitch was not as uniform as it should be. With the flaps the slip stitch is strictly in the fill pillow. Thanks for a couple of great ideas.
