Table Runner for Mother-in-Law to go with the place mats.

The design is from Graceful Embroidery's Georgiana 3. I repeated the design (Picture 4) to fit one 6*10 hoop and did 3 hoopings.

The table runner is made using the 10-minute tablerunner method I learned from youtube. My white fabric is actually not as wide as the print, but since that part is hidden under the triangles, it didn't matter. I just pressed the seam allowance of the print fabric and sewed as if the white fabric was as wide. It worked.

I also topstitched all the place mats because I only fused the opening shut previously.

Now the gift is complete!

It is a beautiful gift.
I think the way you did your tablerunner is actually better than making the white as wide as the print. It leaves out one layer in the points which originally are 4 layers and as the middle only has two layers I prefer the way you did it.

Thank you! That's what I thought too! I did have to trim the print a little bit or there would be a gap. This way there's no bulk on both ends. It wasn't planned, but worked well.
