Tell me what to do.This is a shirt,Avery's school aide had emb at a place of bussiness. She left these coral colored slacks with the shop, so they could match the design color to the pants. They DID NOT match the color, they stitched in baby pink. Now she wants me to add something ! ? what, I have no idea, in the color of the pants, so she can still wear this shirt with them. I have the right color thread, but what can I add?? I would have made the place of business solve this, but the aide is too meek.HELP !

Can you take an orange permanent fabric marker and dab the pink stitches with the marker to make them orange? I wold take some similar pink thread, stitch it out on a sample in any type design and try the marker for color before I would try it on the pants...the design elements look small so this might just work...

i think maybe a simple swirl just beyond the hands, in between each hand, make sense?

I agree with Dragonflyer, orange permanent fabric marker, make the pink into orange. But before you do that, take your little friend by the hand, take these clothes, and march her over to the place of business that did this mess and get her money back, or get them to fix it. Show her how to stand up for herself, or she'll be in for a lot more headaches than the wrong color on a shirt. If she PAID a business to do this, they should make it good for her, even if they do the coloring with the fabric marker, and should give her a discount. And she might want to report them to the Better Business Bureau if they don't make it right somehow. People really need to tell the people who made the mess to fix it first, not just bring it to someone else. Maybe they have an employee who is actually color blind, might be a good thing to know, not necessarily to fire, but not give color match work to that employee. Do your friend the best favor of her life, don't let her wimp out on this. Hugs, Marji

What about adding text that says hands around the world in the right colour that you have. It you have the software maybe you could put the design in your program by scanning it in & then add the phrase so that it will wrap around the world. It looks like they did not add enough stabilizer? Anyway that's my suggestion. Best of luck Hugs & ** Loralye

This is my favorite suggestion for a fix. I might even take the correct color thread to the shop, explain how they had ruined my order, and in lieu of a refund, insist they embroider those words that podcast offers....and that they do it at no charge....IN THE CORRECT COLOR!

I agree that the shirt should be returned and the shop should be told to correct it or refund the money first. If they correct it that's wonderful. If they give a refund then do a touch up or make an applique to go over it so it will match. Good luck :-)
