Sleeping sack

This one is for a customer. He has a very tall 13-month old boy, so I made it very long.
For the front, I used blue broadcloth and 3-piglet fabric, which I used for the outside of the bumper pad cover I made for Lily. There's not enough, so I used blue broadcloth for the top front and the back. Blue piping was used where they were pieced.

On top left, I added 3 piglets embroidery. It's a freebie I got somewhere. I made them in different sizes and put one after another. On top right, I digitized a simple house applique. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the fabric pieces using what I learned from Carolyn Kerber's Tutorial I purchased from Secretsof.com And of course, I had to buy the Silhouette Cameo and the software!
For the inside, I used brown cotton flannel and cotton batting. I quilted the lining and batting with simple star, moon and cloud stippling I digitized. I used my magna hoop and used no stabilizer.
I used two way zipper so it can be opened either from the top or from the bottom. I made the protective tab and top "pocket" to keep the zipper teeth from the baby's skin.

That is really lovely, I made some sleeveless ones for summer but was thinking I need to make some with sleeves in for winter. Did you make your own pattern? I think that its doable, that is really lovely, Jo

I did not make this pattern. I don't like it as much as my own pattern though. The sleeve part does't seem so comfortable to me.

Thank you! I am quite pleased with it. It took too long though. The next one will be faster.
