DO YOU EVERY TAKE TIME... do you ever sit and watch the formation of clouds as they move...do you every take time to sit in a garden and watch the small animals move around...do you ever take time to just sit and be still....

our world is such a busy place people forget to just be still...I was sitting here at the computer looking and browsing around when I looked up and saw all the big clouds moving about...such a beautiful sight to watch as new formations evolve...I just think I never get a moments peace or just sit and do nothing....wondering if anyone else felt that way...

1rst picture above my house
2nd picture in frony...you can barely see the plane in the sky....

IT AMAZES ME OF GOD'S CREATION and how simple life should be....instead of what it has become

I just love Big Sky! I saw 4 falling stars in a 2 week range. Early Aug is always a good time to look at the stars from here. We have had Big Clouds here in Colorado with the flooding! Can't see much when it is that thick! "Its clouds illusions I reply I really don't know clouds.... at all. " Who sang that? Remember the name of that song? Clouds? Judy Colllins?

Every time I get to my sister in Tampa I just love the blue skis and take many pictures!!! When taking off from Jeddah I love to watch as we rise above the yellow dusty ski into the beautiful blue ski at higher altitudes! But that's not to say that I don't love Tampa's thunder storms as well he he

You know Deanna I've been a cloud watcher (maker of shapes dreamer) since I was about 10. I used to lie on my back between the grapevines in my home at Reynella and make up shapes of the clouds. By the way Chris (cfidl) I love that song by Judy Collins too. I have my quiet time on my 6.15am walk every day and it's great to watch nature in its purest form. The sunrise is also one I love, watching the waves at the beach, watching grass grow he he he! and smelling the flowers and being still - you are right Deanna, we need more time to Be Still and Know that I am God! Love ya, Chris

Because I spend a lot of time gardening I certainly do enjoy nature, now how did God get that fragrance into the flowers...I must remember to thank Him again..

I have also loved watching the clouds since I learned the names of the different formations--years ago in 4th grade, oh my that was half a century ago!

I think one of the most beautiful sights for me was when my sister and I were flying to London for a cruise last year and the sun was coming up, a very different perspective when you are in an airplane....and watching it inch it's way up from the horizon. Unforgettable - I also still watch for shapes in the clouds Chris, oh my goodness there's a duck - do you see him -- LOL Hugs all X0x0x0x0

The outdoors and nature help keep me peaceful and relaxed during my day. I have chairs on front, back and side porch to watch the squirrels fight over the apple or banana skins I throw out for them or see the birds hunting for some bugs. I have a (locked) fenced yard that allows me to leave the front and back doors open so the air blows thru when I can't be outside (even get a bird in the house once in a while). My side door is patio style (double glass doors) so I can see the ground to the sky while breaking up fights between cranky toddlers. I make time every day to enjoy a little nature.
