Embossed Monogram on a hand towel using tulle as topping instead of WSS

I heard this tip when I went to my machine lesson for my new Viking DDD. I was just embroidering some towels for my friends and I used WSS as topping. When I got home, I tried this out right away. It's pretty cool. It's supposed to keep the monogram really stable and it's actually cheaper than WSS!
You do have to trim it away after you finish. As for the WSS, you can just peel it off.
The 4 by 4 size works great.
I love the Crane embossed font from here too. I'll use that on bath towels.

This is a fantastic towel. Love the design with its little hearts. I don't think I've seen that before.

I got it when they had the 3 dollars for 3-day trial membership. So I paid 3 dollars and downloaded hundreds of designs there. Read about it on cute community section. Thank you to the cutie who posed it.

That's a neat thing using tulle, I haven't been brave enough for towels yet. Maybe never. Yours turned out so pretty.

I am glad you tried the tulle. I use it for a lot of different things including when making a design free standing when it is a filled design. The towel is well done. I hope you continue to make more towels.

That's a good idea to use it for free standing. I'll embroider more towels for friends, but am too lazy to do any for ourselves.

when you do embossed font you don't need anything on the top. That is what's nice about it.

I did it without topping at first , but I could hardly see the lacey stitches. They show so much better after I used the topping. Maybe I added it too soon.
