My youngest daughter, Emma phoned me last night in tears. I thought that there must be something wrong with Joshua's leg. It was tears of happiness. Her boyfriend Gareth had just proposed to her. I am just so thrilled for her. She has two teenage boys that she has bought up by herself.

He is such a lovely person and his parents are apparently delighted. He has been so good to Joshua and Jared. The stone is a tanzanite with diamonds.

Thank you Karen. They are planning for about this time next year and it will probably be very small with just close friends and family. There is no hurry. The boys are absolutely thrilled.
