UK impromptu gathering! Last night I had a phone call from "workbecky" (Becky from Texas). She is currently visiting her daughter in Suffolk. We had a nice chat worked things out so that she and her husband could drive up to Lincolnshire today. The came to my house where Scottie joined us for some lunch. After lunch I took Becky and her Husband to Gainsborough Old Hall, our medieval manor house and after a whistle stop tour of the building Gill Emmerson managed to meet us for a chat in the tearoom. Becky and Kenneth have just set off back to play with their grandchildren before bedtime!
