Hi cuties, have you ever but your hand up to do something so easy then find you cannot buy the design that you had in mind. It's called foot and mouth. Anyway I told my sister that I would embroider some tea towels for a dance hall that my mum and dad met, for the halls 150 anniversary. Thinking that I would buy the designs from Glen Harris, only to find that he does not have them in his outback collection's as I had thought. Do any of the Aussie cuties know where I can buy a red work design of an Australian dance hall, hopefully with front steps and the building that always seem to be built on the side normally a kitchen. Thankyou for all your help and time. Hugs Heather

Oh, boy, Heather, I can't help either, but I'll put you back up to the top, too. You know, I think I kind of remember seeing a design like this somewhere in my wanderings, it was in redwork. Maybe I'm thinking of Glen Harris, too, have you tried maybe Googling Australian digitizers? What about Lynn over at Letzrock? She might be willing to digitize one for you, at least she'll know what you're talking about. Best of luck with this, hugs, Marji

Perhaps you could free hand draw it and someone could digitise it... I immediately thought of Glen Harris too as he does those australian outback buildings. Hope you can find something.. Hugs Sally

Hi Heather, I had a look through all the Australian digitiser companies that I've got bookmarked and I couldn't find any. There are a lot of redwork outback places on Glenn Harris's site, but not one of the standard Dance hall. I like Sally's suggestion - hopefully one of our Aussie cuties might see this and offer to digitise it for you. Love Chris

Hi Heather Glen Harris does have designs that are Australian. They were called Spirit of the Outback there is 1,2,and 3 1 has a lot of buildings on it There is a school hall but not a dance hall. I did a quilt in these for my boss when he retired. I am also from Queensland
