My needle threader on my machine quit working and I found it had a piece of thread fuzz stuck in it, So I'll fix it.Grabbed a pair of needle nose pliers and went to grab it but got distracted by someone behind me and grabbed the wire also so now it will never work again. I was threading each color by hand which gets old real fast.Then I found the solution and bought this needle threader,works great saves on the eyes also. Here it is 12.99 but get one at ebay for around 5 dollars and 2 dollars to ship from sewvac USA. I love it and would recommend it for anyone who has a nonworking machine threader. On the other end is a holder for when you change needles,called amazing needle threader

For those of you with a Joann nearby - they also carry this tool on the notions aisle (and 50% coupons start on Sunday). I use it to put the needle in the whole (my threader still functions so I don't need it for that). I have tied a ribbon to it and attached it to my machine (because I have misplaced more than one of them)!.

They may carry them at all the fabric stores but I have never noticed
I just looked at the JoAnn's web site and it says these are online only...but, the next time I am at my JoAnn's I will take a peek on the Notion wall....but I ordered two off e-bay just in case...
They may have taken them out of the stores - I did get several there. Like you say take a peek - they may be there.

I got one like it with my 4-needle machine. I don't use it that often, the wire bends easily and i find it just as easy as to thread by hand.

Threading by hand is ok but when you get designs with lots of color changes one after another this gadget makes it so much easier, cheaper than a replacement part and I did not have to send the machine out
Maybe I should practice a bit with the thing! I am glad it works so well for you.

I found this to be so helpful. My needle threader was such a frustration to me. It would work properly 1 out every 20 or so times. I decided today was the day I was going figure this thing out once and for all. I got out a magnifying glass so I could see exactly what was going on. Finally realized what I have been doing wrong. I was missing one little step. I have to pull the tread to the back and then towards me. I can actually feel the thread catch now when I do it correctly. They are great for overlockers..... Most people dont realise that their needle must be in the correct position for the threader to work properly.
It is one of the biggest reasons that we get machines back for warranty repair...
