Hi Lillian I love your flag. I haven't sewn on burlap yet. Did you spray it
with a coating to protect it from the weather? I have the red burlap and I want to do an Alabama one. The people in Michael's couldn't tell me what to use for protection. I thought maybe I would just hang it like a banner on my porch. Roll Tide olds/Maureen Mobile Al.

Hi Maureen U guys got off well with storm dissapating. Girl across rd from me has had a burlap flag out in the weather fore more than 4 mos and it holds up well. I used WSS on back & frnt and then spritzed with WSS , she used cutaway. I didn't like stab showing on back is why I used WSS. Roll Tide and go for it. If you applique I would use all weather fabric to applique on the burlap/Lillian
