After having some of our family over for the Thanksgiving holiday I discovered that I did not have enough blankets for 6 extra people so our oldest grandson decided to go through my panels & see which one he wanted me to make into a blanket. This is the panel that he chose. There is a spot where they give you instructions on the fabric & I replaced this with the candy fabric he chose but I thought it looked out of place so I added the free applique design from DigiStitiches. I am planning on adding more to the outside of this but my question: is this a hit or a miss? Should I keep going or take this block out completely? On the other side where the words are I am planning on stuffing the little picture that also comes with the panel & using Velcro to adhere it to the spot where it says wall hanging.
