This is two more designs I have turned into cards. The cardinal is stitched onto the cardstock, I printed the background and card has my Christmas wishes within just needs signed. The holly card is more of a red than the orange it appears on here is a printed back ground again and applique holly. I sewed the sequins on once done.

How did you keep from perforating the card?

I used cut away in hoop and also a universal 11/80 needle not embroidery needle as embroidery needle does make bigger holes.
Good to know.

Wow, these are beautiful...what weight card stock are you using...the cardinal looks like a filled design and it didn't totally perforate the paper... and I love the string of sequins effect.

Thanks.... The cardstock is 110lb. The Cardinal is a filled design I drew last week. Will share when dbc comes back. I have drawn up few things and figured putting them onto cards would let me test them out.
