Knitting... not Embroidery!!!

Is there anyone here who can set me right, please. What is 'Rhinebeck Style' in knitting. I've been sitting here trying to work out any similarity in these garments. Blowed if I can see a 'style' or theme running through the fun except the joy of wearing lovely warm hand-knitteds, and, my gosh, some of these garments are just lovely. TIA.

I've had a Google and I agree with you, just lovely knitwear. However, The New York State Sheep and Wool Festival is at a place called Rhinebeck. We are too late, by the way, it was last weekend!

Thanks to youtube we can still enjoy the picture fun.
I love classic styles and I love brilliantly coloured garments such as those knitted by Kaffe Fassett, and all woolly things in between so that just about covers the wool thing. I could start a shop with my wool stash and I still have fleeces to spin - where will it ever end??

I'd be there, too, if I could be. I love the feel of wool and love spinning and knitting up the yarn.
