Inspired by all the cute towels on here this week I took a trip to the Dollar Store and this is what I came up with. The designs are from Embroidery Library and the frames are in my machine. My button box didn't provide me with a matching button so I used beads for the fasteners.

You can make them as fancy or as simple as your time allows,

Both are lovely. Like the beads instead of buttons. Good thinking. Shirley

Your towels look great!!! Very pretty! Love the holder on them, very fancy.
Dollar Store surprises me sometimes I think they have better towels than walmart. I bought a good supply in the spring and they were really heavy duty, just waiting in a plastic tote saying "Sew me" lol! I plan to do a few for Christmas presents.

Very Beautiful! How do you make these with the potholders?

Fold your tea towel in half and gather it with a running stitch along centre line. (You need to gather the tea towel enough to fit the width of your Pot Holder). Place your pot holder over the stitch line, with the right side on the outside. Stitch your pot holder along the centre stitch line so that you can see your design when you bring the top and bottom of the pot holder together (as you can see in the above picture). "queenofhearts" has put embroidery on her pot holders. If you buy one with a design already on it then you won't need to do this step. Then once finished place a button on the opposite side of the loop - if no loop then make one! Good luck, love Chris
Thank you so much, can't wait to try it!
