Great idea for place-settings. For the kids, you could try to find little charms or fancy zipper pulls for their jackets. Another idea could be small erasers or those mini pens/markers. It's harder to think of small gifts for adults, althought the mini pen idea might work for them as well (I always keep a small one in my purse).

You could put mini Christmas balls inside. Or a fsl ornament that's not to stiff to roll a little. Peppermint candies or the really small candy canes. Pine cones...the little size with a ribbon around them.

These are so much fun to make. I was able to get the charge to make the pop sound since we live just over the border from Tennessee where that state sells fireworks. Think I ended up making about 3 dozen Christmas Crackers that year. Picked up small items from the dollar type stores along with some small candies and a few tiny games. It's amazing what you can find to fit in the middle.
