Sorry what I failed to make obvious is that the cracker is made in 2 halves slotted together hence the availability to conceal presents. The larger roll and 2 ends are kitchen roll inners and the small left hand roll a toilet roll inner. Hey presto, but no bang!!

These are so much fun to make. I was able to get the charge to make the pop sound since we live just over the border from Tennessee where that state sells fireworks. Think I ended up making about 3 dozen Christmas Crackers that year. Picked up small items from the dollar type stores along with some small candies.
