Oct 30 2013 I need some help putting together some of my projects, matching fabric and designs. Like I have a few towels and how should I put them together. I am looking for a towel topper that stays and you change out the towel. and towel toppers are not usually made from towels, right? I have a few ITH projects that I need to put together quick and need someone to bounce ideas off of. Please PM me if you have time. Thanks Christine

Hi, Christine, I know I've seen some towel toppers that are something like you're describing, not attached to the towel. It's a topper, but then below the design has a kind of "slot" that you'd push the towel through, then use the topper part to hang it. When the towel is dirty, replace it, but you don't have to wash the topper. Now, where did I see them? I haven't got a clue, maybe Designs by Sick. I hope somebody comes along who has a better memory than I do. Best of luck with your project, let us know how it turns out. Hugs, Marji

A time to stitch have several designs in towel toppers that you just slip the towel through an opening. They have several different "tops" on them as well that you can either use over the oven handle or over a small door knob. They stitch out beautifull

Christine, Embroidery Library has the type of Towel Topper you are after.
I haven't used it as I crochet my TTs on.
I embroider the towel in the bottom corner, though. :-)
