In keeping with the wonderful cat pictures on here from Gerry - I wanted to wish everyone in America a happy Halloween. We don't celebrate it much here in Australia, although we did have 4 little children with their Mum come to the house this afternoon whilst I was out visiting Mum! Trevor gave them Chupa Chups! Dana and her 3 children got dressed up though in costumes that Dana got from school and they just visited the people in their cul-de-sac.

Like so many things over the year we have lost the deeper meaning to the holiday. I hope all the children where they trick or treat will be safe and happy!

You Aussies are always dropping word bombs on us! What are Chupa Chups!? Also, there are lots of Americans who don't celebrate Halloween, like us. I totally enjoy all the kids in their adorable costumes,
As Christians who believe in Christ, we also know how much control satan has over this world, so we choose not to participate that gives any homage to him. What Halloween has become is a long way from All Hallows Eve.

I made a comment about All Hallows Eve to my Hubbie and he didn't know what I was talking about. I am happy to celebrate that, just not spooky stuff.
Chupa Chups are a boiled lolly on a stick. They come wrapped individually so a safe and clean to give to OP kids.
