I made the leaves with felt, my favorite fabric to embroider. I couldn't find a wreath form where I live so my husband suggested a steering wheel cover. Worked perfectly. I used the inside of a potato chip bag instead of mylar. Leaf designs are from emblibrary.

This is lovely and good thinking on using the inside of the chip bag, gives them so much sparkle.
You have one smart hubby...he is a keeper, I'd say.

Thank you for sharing the idea and tips.. Love that the steering cover is 'woodsy' also.. Great Idea from your DH and love the way the back of the chip bag worked out. Wish I had read email sooner as threw away a empty one last night, and garbage already picked up..
