Hello everyone

I have been in a bit of a depression as of late. We recently found out a good friend of ours is in strage four Kidney cancer. He is starting to except it, but his wife is really stuggling. We have been going over on Sunday Morning and helping them list equipment on craigslist for sale to help them raise money to pay the bills. It is druggin up some old memories I would rather stayed in the past about my mothers cancer and all we went through.
PLease pray for Jim and his wife Rocky.
Thank you
Diane

I am sure you are there to help because the Lord knows you will have true empathy and great compassion for your friends. The Lord does his work through each of us. Be sure to turn to him in this. He will buoy you up.
Hugs and prayers -- for you as well

I am glad you came here and expressed your feelings. It is easier when one can share. I love Rescuers answer. She said it so well.
I will keep everyone in my prayers.

Diane, I understand well the struggles family and friends go through fighting cancer, as I have lost several loved ones during the past five years. I pray the Lord will give all of you the strength that passes understanding. May blessings be abundant for Jim and his family each day to provide their needs, ease their worries, and give them peace.
Hugs, Angel

I'm so sorry. Find time to laugh even in the dark times. I lost my younger sister May 2 2013, after her 20+ years battling breast cancer. I took her for treatments and dr. appointments for most of that time. During the last seven years, we took cards and played while we waited for her treatment (IV) to complete. Everyone wonder what we were laughing about as we played cards, colored pictures. Laughter is a good medicine for anyone ill. My prayers are with you, your family and Jim and Rocky. Cherish each moment. Hugs, Max

Thank you all for the prayers. yesterday we got some hopeful news. Tuesdya he goes in to have the bad kidney removed, the survior rate is ten years after such an operation with treatment. best news we've heard in a while. Considering tonight I found out my ex-mother-in-law is in the hospital for cancer testing, sigh. Keep her in your prayers as well please.
And again thank you each and everyone!!
Hugs
Diane
