My Fall mug rug from Sanfranciscostitchco. What a pile of material I had out for waiting to choose colors. Still think I'd rather use bias binding than bringin the back to the front. My mitered corners come out better. But, that was the hardest part.

It is one of the Mystery Projects, currently still free for group members under the group files -- all 4 weeks and finishing instructions. Eventually it will go for sale on the site at extremely reasonable cost. You can see previous projects there. Looks very nice. I giggled at the piles as I tend to do that a lot. At least it keeps us up on knowing about where to dig and go again. lol. Your corners look great!

Pioneers and gals of days gone by using the binding method that you used it. Back in those days, they didn't have quilt binding or make them. This was their method. Purist in the simpliest form!
Now you have a bit of quilting history to go with your mug rug!
