i think you mean gramsbear, don't know if she still does them but they weren't fsl. Would it be easier to make initials for the caregivers? How many people are you talking about each week? You could make a small fsl angel and add a jingle bell.something easy,Don't over do your 1st week in the cast,

I would try to find several different FSL angels and use them.
If you have to repeat the design just change the colors to make each angel individual. There's a free one on Sonia Showalter's called Angel of light that stitches out super.

I posted some ideas on your Question. Will any of them work? If not, I can keep looking.
We can't have you breaking your cast trying to cut things.
I think the one you did is beautiful!

This no doubt took long time with those wee scissors to trim. Looks great as always. If you made these for the staff can you find you a person to trim? You being their coach of course.

yes they could trim after i am done or they could cut our the circles .will see i got lots of fsl ideas now for sure. hugs

Hi as a new member to the Cuties...first let me say....You are an inspiration to all!!! Second, as a "Retired" Activity Director....please ask the Activity Dept. for help...they would be able to have Residents get involved with the cutting activities....Have fun most of all!! K

Carolyn, I Iove what you have done with this design....the fabric is perfect choice and again I am astounded by what you are accomplishing with only one usable hand......You do so much for others, surely there may be someone close by that can cut these for you? I wish you could mail them to me and I would cut them and mail them back..........

THis ornament you've done is lovely. If you'd have a more straight edged design then you could use a ruler ( I put small adheavsive pads on corners) with a rotary cutter. Most cutters are for right or left handed too. Just a thought. Such a thought project& thanks for sharing it. :~D

You got it trimmed out so nice. If you have a hole punch that might work to open up where the candy cane goes. There are some that you squeeze that you could align up and have your dear one punch and then there are the ones you whack with a hammer. He could do that also after you line it up for him.

hmmmmmmmmmm good idea

Think the hole punch with the hammer idea would work Carolyn - you can usually get them in different sizes - for grommets - DH should be able to help with this project you probably shouldn't be wielding the hammer with your wrist problems...could the hole be punched before stitching around it is completed - have an old wooden breadboard that works great with the punch and hammer.. It looks great. The snowmen with the names were done by DollyDK (hope I got that right...lol) I don't recall if they were lace or fabric. You could send her a message & see...
