After finishing this set I sent a pic to my daughter who replied. "You know you put the Star of David on the coaster " my reply " I hope your boss will like them" nice cover lol. Won't go to waste .

It was not for her boss to start. Her boss is Jewish so it is just right for him and his family.

I love this set and it all looks like it was made for this fabric. I am sure your daughter's boss will love them. I love the star and didn't associate it as being the "Star of David".

I don't think that most non-Jewish people would associate the star with the Star of David and just see it as a pretty star. You didn't when you made these, so I think it would be a welcome gift for anyone.
