ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LADIES LUNCHEON! It's now 4.45pm and everything is over once again for another year.

My poor girlfriend Sue (who lives down Sydney way) got stuck on the freeway with a massive accident (left home at 9.30) and didn't get here till 12.30! We had lunch and she left about 3.00pm! Long way to come for such a short time. Never mind, they all bought some great salads and we had beautiful cold meats and amazing Hazelnut Praline plunger coffee for afters. A lovely bottle of Veuve Cliquot Champagne for toasts and I made a large Punch for most of us who don't drink! I did have a couple of small glasses of Champagne though today - I deserved it!

Everyone loved all the Snowman gifts and loved the Santa Claus quilt that I've nearly finished. I just have to put wadding and backing on it. Maybe next year it will be done!

Love to you all, love Chris

O Chris, you outdid yourself once again. Everything looks so lovely. I bet you all had a wonderful time. You put a lot of work into your annual luncheon and it all shows.
I am interested in the Hazelnut Praline Plunger Coffee, what is it and is there a recipe?? It sounds amazing.

That's right Chris - except for me I only did 6 things. I didn't do a Snowman FSL with my name on it from Dolly's designs. I've already got lots of FSL things for my tree. Love Chris
If you double click on the picture you can see a better picture. She had her hair more auburn this time.

Thanks - yes, we had some leftovers for dinner and I'd say again tomorrow night. I am amazed - I allow one piece of meat for each lady eg. ham, turkey, pork and some chicken, but obviously not everyone takes one piece each. Sue didn't have any meat at all! So we had plenty! They all had Pudding, Icecream, Custard and or cream for dessert. I had a Mango cheek, icecream and a spoonful of custard. I can't eat the pudding that I served them today, but Trev has bought me some gluten free ones. I'll have them for our family Christmas!!! Love Chris

I saw the truck accident on the news. The driver was seriously injured. He somehow slammed into the wall.

Thank you dear friend for a truly lovely day and the amazing effort you put in, once again, to make this day so very special. You surpassed yourself, again.
I feel deeply privileged to be included and to be able to enjoy the company of your marvellous friends (they are a lovely group of ladies) and the added bonus this year of your gorgeous daughter Amy being "allowed" (LOL!) to stay. She is such a sweetheart and Delphi is gorgeous.
Thank you for all the snowmen embroidered goodies too, they will take pride of place on our Christmas table and be treasured for a lifetime.
Another wonderful day!!!
Here are a couple more snapshots, one of the group and a very candid shot of Chris, Kaye and Patricia. Hugs n roses, Meganne

Ha, ha, ha Gerry, I was saying to Meg I look like the size of a house side on! I'll have to do something about that! Not to mention I was so hot - Mum was cold and wanted the air conditioner off and so the rest of us sweltered even though the air con was on 24C!!!!!! I can't stand humidity and it was that as well. Thankfully it's only once a year! Love Chris

Oh Chris! What a beautiful, beautiful table! How festive everything is! Oh, I hope I can come someday! May I invite myself, please? We don't do any decorating for Christmas, or celebrating until after Thanksgiving here, so this is getting me all excited! Yu do such lovely work! Merry Christmas. I'm so sorry Sue couldn't get there in time.

She did get there about 15 minutes before we sat down to lunch so that was fine. I always ask her to come early as she has to travel for an hour and a half to get here from Mount Colah (outer suburb of Sydney on the northern side). It was a lovely day and all over far too soon. Love Chris - you are welcome anytime!!

Hi Chris - you must have had tremendous fun setting up this beautiful table. I just love your collection of dangly-legs Santa-Elves. The cutlery holders are a great success, too. The ladies must have had a great time and surely they've gone home wondering what you'll think up for next year's annual Ladies Luncheon. What a great tradition!!
