Gray Skies Quilt

Been a while since I posted anything because I have been too busy to really sew anything. But as my daughter's due date approached - I was reminded that I hadn't made my new grandson a quilt yet. I actually finished sewing the binding at the hospital. Finished it before he arrived! The pattern was from a picture seen on Pinterest. The raindrops and lettering are appliques I made and attached with iron-on fusing. I also ran a zig-zag stitch around them all to ensure they wouldn't fall off in the wash.
