Here's the girls........we will be deciding tomorrow to release them outside or into our "holding room" in the basement.....this is their recovery cage...has 3 tiers to it and you can see the rug sling we made for them...when we go out to garage to feed them, they are all 3 in the sling, but by the time I got the camera, Jif climbed out....

We also have a heat lamp rigged above the sling (on the outside of the cage, of course)...first pic is Cashew in front and Skippy behind her........2nd pic you can see Jif hiding under the sling......she is definitely the most shy......UPDATE.....11-23-13...2 of the 3 are now in our cat holding room in the basement......Skip & Cashew, Jif got away (in the garage), so we set up a humane trap with food and hope to catch her by tonight or tomorrow......the other 2 are very traumatized right now and am sure Jif is horrified being loose in the garage...poor baby........I knew we would have trouble with her as she is the one that is so so shy.......

So sweet. I love the sling. Will they be staying with outside?

If we decide to release them outside, there are several cat houses with straw in them on our property and we have several feeding stations as well, so am sure they will hang around...........also their mother is now bringing her latest 2 kittens to eat.....these look to be about 8 weeks old.........I sure hope we can catch Momma before she dumps another load of "kids" on us!!!

they are probably so used to being outdoors that they can't wait to get back out there

I think they like you! How many loose females do you have out there? Is there a county traveling spay/neuter program? Cashew is beautiful and Skippy reminds me of a childhood kitty named thunderinghoofbeats who lost a leg and it didn't matter. He was found as a kitten with 2 others, I forget what happen to Mom.

Did you ever think about building 2 big pens - one for boys, one for giirls! Do you remember the end of the movie 101 Dalmations. I think of you in the middle of all these kitties!

No Peter Pan? I guess if there was a boy? They are beautiful kitties. I bet they are really confused. Their lives changed for the better when they met you and your husband! Thank you, Vicki, for saving their lives!
