This was my first FSL snowflake that didn't quite stiffen enough to use as a deco so I stitched his smiley face to this handtowel and put on a Christmas trim. Great way use up your test stitch pieces too. (FSL snowflake design is from UnlimitedStitching)

Thank you. He is also made into coasters, applique as well as the fsl deco......from Unlimitedstitching site. Also a freebie if you belonged to their group.

That is an uniques design. Look fabulous on that towel. Why do you think it did not stiffen up enough? Did you use 2 layers of WSS or just one?

Thank you. He was too soft so his points would curl in...one layer of WSS....I must have left him in the water to rinse far too long. Another batch I've done with one layer vilene WSS have turned out perfectly. Tried another batch with 2 layers of the plastic type WSS....another success.
