Ornament for Christmas tree

For the first time since the burglary I digitised something, inspired by the ornaments posted by kereme. I used felt.
I might make a few different ones as I have a Christmas market on the 14th and I could do with a few extra items to sell.

These are lovely ornaments, and will look wonderful on your tree this year. I'm so glad you are getting back into your hobbies after such a harrowing experience. Good luck at the market selling your handyworks.

Thank you. I thought about blue and silver but thought the red and white would appeal to more people.

Never thought of blue and silver. I think it will be an awesome color scheme too.

I am glad that you are feeling like sewing again Martine. It is such a violation when something as tragic as that happens. I have kept you in my prayers. Hugs & one more for good measure, Loralye

Thanks Loralye. It's the inconvenience afterwards that is such a bore. We still have the doors boarded up as the insurance is in no hurry, especially after a storm a couple of weeks ago that caused a lot of damage and destruction. And of course, you want a new roof over your head when that's blown away and deserve to jump the queue. But it would be nice to be able to see through the windows come Christmas. If not, I have a nice place on which to nail my Chritmas cards :) Hugs to you too!

So happy for you that you feel once again like creating and stitching. One has to keep calling their Insurance companies to get them moving and here in the U.S. some people will have the local news station come and see what they can get done for them by putting their issue on the news. You shouldn't have to be inconvenienced so long for the price you pay to have insurance coverage.

I love these (I know I posted before) and you have inspired me -- today I have been playing with my 5D embroidery.
I apologize earlier for asking if they were for sale, I have been ill quite a while and forgot all that you have been through recently!
Prayers are with you and many "Thanks" for all you have shared with us. Bless you!

I am pleased to hear you decided to play with 5D - you'll be able to make your own special ornament and that always gives me a fealing of satisfaction.
As for mine: the design will be for sale on Yoriko's site, www.mygardened.com.

Absolutely love it. Had to try it out tonight and cannot wait for the weekend to make more. Mine is not as perfect but I am surely going to practise. My children are fighting to have it, Hubby wants it on the tree. A definite winner.

Thank you! Nice to know you liked it!
I did two that I embroidered on both sides, but although I pinned it the back was not perfectly centered, so the others are embroidered on one only.

We are fine as we were away when we had that unwanted visitor. Fortunately they left my machines. Just took my laptop and a small wallsafe with some jewelry in it. And they looked for money - there was only a handful of old 5 builder cent pieces, completely worthless, but they took that as well.
