This is little Nora's jacket, mom wanted to match big sis,Avery's.I don't have her here, so it is not finished. She is growing so much!..Look at the neckline though, it looks so big! I made off of this pattern, about 10 years ago and I remember NOW, how big it was then too.I think I ended up taking a box pleat at the back neck and since it has a front facing,I must have took a deeper seam there too. I will wait until I try it on her tho.I took Avery's flower applique and reduced the size for Nora.I think I like Noras better. There is a button in the middle like on the jacket buttons.Noras pattern didn't have a collar,I guess because babies don't have much space between the head and the shoulders,LOL and a collar out of fleece, would probally just stick out straight. -I may try to draw her a pocket pattern, like big sis.

So much fun to make baby garments. For a too large neckline I have taken 1/8 inch elastic and make a channel from shoulder to shoulder in the back. Insert the elastic and it takes up the back and gives for movement. Good thinking to leave off the collar.
