Thought you might like to see some more kookaburra photos. There are 2 in our front garden every evening. Photos 1 & 2 I think is the same bird as I posted about a week ago. The other one looks older to me. Don't you just love the hair style in photo 2. Shirley

Yours are gorgeous Shirley. It's funny we have the two parent birds back in our gumtree nest/hole. I don't know if there is an egg in there or not, we will have to have a look over the weekend. It's seems strange to be this late as it's starting to get really hot here and I don't know if the baby Kookaburras would last through the summer. I'll have to wait and see, sometimes it can be a phantom egg. Love Chris

These two hang around the house a lot. They find the Corby Grubbs after hubby has cut the grass. Can't call it a lawn lol Shirley

Maybe the kookaburra is just having a bad feather day or if he is near our place the wind is making the feathers stand on end.Any way he is more interested in finding his next meal than what he looks like.
