Yes 42 strips sewed together and then fold back to first one and sew together. Keep doing it till this size. Called jelly roll quilt

There is something very beautiful about the old simple square blocks quilts - is it the thought of love and warmth right from the beginning of the work? I really like jelly roll quilts and I have three tops made up, and that's as far as I've got with them. The last one is all Aussie fabrics and requires a kangaroo or two appliqued across the bottom.
Your jelly roll quilts are really lovely and you've chosen the perfect borders for them. OHhhh, I am inspired, Again, to finish my quilts!!!
I wonder where they are....

They are very nice. I have a jelly roll that I want to make one with but haven't gotten around to it yet!
