I am familiar with Wilcom...I would be VERY LEARY about buying an unregistered copy of software...all of their software that I am familiar with will not operate without their Security Dongle...the dongle must be attached in order for the software to open and it must be in place for the entire time you are using the software. All the dongles are registered to operate with only ONE software package...they are not interchangeable with someone elses's dongle...I say DANGER here...Wilcom makes fantastic digitizing software for themselves, Bernina and Janome. I am running the new Janome MBX 4.5 and it is very powerful and easy to use...but I do not think that any of their software can be run with an unregistered copy and without a dongle...I say Buyer Beware...I also have PE Next...and I, too do not like it as well as the Wilcom software...but there are support groups...Carol Price has a Tutorial DVD that is very good and their is a Yahoo group that she runs that is just for PE support and questions...

You should never buy a COPY of software, it is illegal, in fact it is stolen goods, and it might not work properly either.
If the price is too good to be true don't buy it, you might get into real trouble.
