another beautiful day with the smell of freshly made pear sauce boy does it smell good YUM YUM. I make these for my neighbours & for those unexpected visitors too. I would be forever & a day without my Vitamix it processes everything smoothly every time & makes this job much easier to do. Do you can during the holidays? My girls have tried it this year & I am very proud to say they get it from me. Our oldest just did Jam's & the youngest did sauces apple plum cherry & pear. They will give them as gifts to co-workers too. Of course all their jars match LOL I just embroider covers LOL. Now I have to find just the right pear design

Sounds good and looks good. I made pear butter one year yummy! The old way before everybody had slow cookers to help them out. Applesauce and apple butter the favorite.

It looks good and I bet it tastes good as well. I am glad to see a motley collection of jars. I made quince jelly last week and only had jars in different shapes and sizes , but as long as i give one pot at the time nobody knows.

Looks yummy! It's great to do your own and not to have to rely on the store bought. I froze a quite a bit applesauce last year, and have canned in the past but not for a few years now.
