Oh Lordy, I have made a mess of this and caused you to misunderstand. The dog attack was the last week of Sept. and it was my rt. ankle that I was bitten on. Have been going 1 and 2 times a week for debrideiment for 9 weeks now. Been rough but now finally healing. the head wound with the 16 staples is when I fell out of my walk in shower and hit the corner of my linen closet(NO) I was not drinking nor taking pain meds. Lost my balance and down I went. there I was (nekkid) and bleeding and the next thing I knew, paramedics, emts and ambs. in my front yrd and then amb to ER. what a mess. I'm so sorry to confuse you , it was not intentional. I'm thankful I didn't break anything my daughter says my head is so hard if I had to land on something she was glad it was that. If that wasn't bad enough the Dr. said after the CAT Scan they did on my head there was no brain up there. My Sn N Law pipes up with" we all knew that already" , seriously it was really bad, worst H.A. I've ever had. I'm a survivor, I'm still in the back brace and back didn't seem to be any worse so for that I'm truly thankful. Again my friends I did not mean to mislead you. Please forgive. Much much love/Lillian
Hugs, Angel
Seriously,I'm glad you are getting better. My daughter says I'm as tough as whit leather. Those girls get sassy when they think we can't take a switch to them, don't they?
P.S. Your doctor is not telling the truth. You have a mighty fine brain.
Love you!
Angie
cyber hug ((((( )))))
I'm so glad that your back hasn't been hurt any further. I did wonder what you were doing to have a dog bite your head. Nine weeks of constant debridement is hard to take but it's good that the healing process has at last begun to happen.
Here's wishing you swift recovery from both ankle and head injuries. Funny, isn't it, how our closest loved ones relieve their fear, worry and concern with uncomplimentary comments in times of crises, like this.
