Are there instructions for the Candy Cane holders? I don't know when to put the back piece on.

The tricky part was knowing how big the candy cane stick is so you can place the fold of the fabric the right distance from the edge to create the sled loops.
that is so true, I have a few that are too skinny!
There are several sizes of candy canes so you need to make one and test it.

It's a folded piece of felt so you never actually add a back piece. The felt starts as twice the width of the whole thing. The fold goes where the candy cane loops are.
