Avery's Pink Christmas babydoll-She does have a nose! I found I had another spool of thread, closer to the fabric color.I don't know if that was what helped, or the fact that I did not have to resize it much, but the nose looks better on the bigger doll.I am giving the 2 little ones away, but I will make Nora a little one, like the green.I stuffed them lightly in the head, arms, legs and then I put some dry beans, in a ziplock plastic bag, along with a little air, for their stomachs. Some Cuties suggested this, so they would be floppy like a beanie baby. I also put a filled triangle on the big one for the zipper pull(it may be a little too big?) Avery's stitched very easily, the little ones give me the dickens. The small is 8 inches after stuffing and the large is 12 inches. Thanks for looking and trying to help me.I guess a not too pretty nose, is better than no nose-LOl

No-no-and yes-NO it is not my design, although I put several designs together to make it.Look in your files. You may have a face , a triangle and a line-thats what I had, oh and my circle that I stretched more to an oval. NO it is not an ITH project.I got a doll shape off the internet somewhere(sorry) and I used that to sew around. and YES, I hope they don't leave home without them!

You are making some little girls very happy! I think her little button nose is fine. If you really despise the nose, move one of the eyebrows down to the nose spot and stitch it in pink if your software will allow you to do that.

Won't or can't move anything WITHIN a design.I can however ADD TO like I did here. The nose looks better in this thread and bigger on pink

Ah, that's so sweet. If I had digitized it, I would gladly share, so you could start your own family.I'm just not that smart, even if I had the software-LOL

I do too, but I need those pellet pieces, or whatever you call them.I have dry beans in a plastic bag, but if I get to town before christmas,I want to put the pellets in,instead.

They are very cute in the end! I use the plastic pellets inside a piece of nylon stocking inside my toys (that have pellets) and that way they are washable and the pellets stay safe in the old nylon.

Good tip.Where do you get the plastic pellets, at WalMart or craft store, like Michaels?

Thanks Carolyn.I am trying to surprise Mom too, she always knows what I buy, cause we are usually together, so she doesn't know about these. She loved dolls, as a child, and still does.
