Hello dear Sue and Gil (Scottie was in Cologne, so I couldn't meet her) and all Cuties who are interested

according to your recommendation we visited the lovely embroidery and quilting and wool shop in the Nottingham area (picture 2 - left: my girl friend Karla, middle: her girl friend Liz who was kind enough to drive us, right: myself).
In the shop we had fun and were recommended to go to Sherwood Forest Craft and Art Center which was sooo
delightful. Maybe you will go there next weekend as they have a Victorian weekend - see pict 4 and 5)
Pict 6: Lincoln cathedral romantically illuminated
Pict 7: Sue and Gil holding a cushion Karla had bought
it gives good inspiration what to embroider
Pict 8: my girl friend Karla holding a fantastic towel with
a towel topper Sue did (really nice; we all loved it)
Pict 9: Sue, Karla and Gil admiring the (bought) London
embroidery cushion
Pict 10: inspiration in Doddington Hall for sewists - too
sweet
Pict 11: Super sweet :-)
Pict 12: What a nice wreath - all nature
Pict 13: Me and Karla in front of Doddington Hall
Pict 14: Inspirations of Covent Garden London
Angels flying there
15-17 Impressions of Covent Garden and finally ent-
rance of Hotel Savoy where Karla treated me to
a High Tea - which definitely was a life-event
16 was taken inside Five Bells Pub, my most fa-
vourite Pub near Lincoln
So hope you liked my pre Christmas impressions in beautiful England - including the cute and friendly Lincoln Cuties! Thank you for taking time to meet me and my (not embroidering so far) friend Karla!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and hope to see you again but definitely Bettina must join - Love and Hugs Maria

You are right - England is so beautiful - especially in
Christmas time. I like traveling through Country side to see all the lovely gardens, hedges, real old trees (which we do not have in Germany any more) and everywhere the timberwood houses, castles - just history!

Glad you liked Heaths Country Store - could you afford to buy anything? (LOL)
It was lovely to meet you both and to extend my Cute family in the flesh.

Oh yes - bought two pieces of lime green fabric variations and some wool. Karla made an attempt to restart knitting a sweater but then found out material would have been more than 60 English pounds and refused. But we had a lovely time :-)

Gil, aren't we the lucky people? Yes, it was nice and glad you found that special jacket. Now I am waiting for New Year getting back to "normal" so that I can start with embroidery-sewing. Happy Christmas to you too
