Bo Knows was an advertising campaign featuring Bo Jackson in the early 1990s. I have another Bo that knows:

On Friday, I stopped at The Green Spot (our best local grocer), on my way from picking up my 4 year old grandson. I carefully folded some paper money and handed it to Bo and told him we were going to put it in the Salvation Army kettle. By his curious look, I knew I had to describe more what that was all about, so I proceeded to tell him about the Salvation Army and what they do, ending with there are children who don’t have food to eat. He looked up at me said in the sweetest voice ever….”Bring them to me.” It really made me pause and think. He didn’t worry about how he would feed them, where the food would come from, who was going to pay for it, where he would feed them, only Bring them to me. I’m going to remember this and act on it for a very long time.....Bo knows.

How perceptive of Bo to think that. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Love Chris

P.S. 'Tis the season to do good and by following your example he will be made aware of the needs of others. Well done Jerrilyn.

Absolutely. Now I (we) just have to keep the world from distorting his beliefs.

We were giving money to the poor and when my grandson learned that they were hungry, he wanted me to bring them (the children) to him.
Love and hugs!

May I share this with the prayer group? I work with children and youth at my church and I try to share "out of the mouth of babes".
Thank you for sharing.

Oh if only we all could have the loving trusting heart of a child. . This is why Jesus told us unless we come as little children we cannot enter the kingdom. How blessed we are when a small child shows us the way. Much love to you Jerrilyn/Lillian
