Well I am happy to say that my ''Happy'' (machine) is taking a well deserved rest and so am I. Just finished my last order and I am pooped. Every year I say cut off is Dec. 1st and every year I go past that deadline. If you are like me, you don't want to dissapoint (especiall the regular customers) and so we take on more that we should.
Well, done for another year, of course now I still have to decorate the house, go shopping, do some baking, oh I think I shoud stop thinking and just enjoy the fact that I am done.
Anyone else like me or have you all finished and are ready for the big day?

I will try but with so much to do, I have changed my attitude. what gets done does and what doesn't, well who will know other than me lol,

same here ,finally all orders done made 221personalised gingerbread men .xmas cushions ,towels,the list goes on.and my eyes are sore,but i have enjoyed every minute of it,especially ,when they pick up there order and see the delight in their faces.

I spent the weekend making 15 humbug bags and 9 Christmas stockings. All for a paying customer. I think I am done and now can get to the 10 things I want to do for myself but you never know.

That is like me, I want to make a few things as stocking stuffers and I imagine after a few days off I will start something, can't seem to stay away from the thing. lol

Good for you! No, I am no where near ready! I'm making something different for my kids and families - they all like my cabbage rolls and perogies! so, guess what I'm making them! lol

Baking, I have so cut back, hubby doesn't eat sweets and my daughter will be making dessert for xmas supper. I find if I make to much, it finds it way to my waistline, go figure (literally lol)
No, these aren't sweets. I haven't made any of those in a long time - I like certain ones and get carried away, so safer not to have any and now hubby is diabetic - so his sweet tooth is on hold, lol.

Nope, not ready either.... Still have a couple of shirts, a blanket and a tea light cover for a glass to make as gifts! My house did get decorated and and the cards are in the mail and the baking is done though - for that I am happy.

Last year I sent out email cards, my family was blown away. They call me Martha Stewart because I decorate big time. My excuse last year was that I had surgery on Dec. 11 but this year is just that time has run out. Might have to go electronic again lol.

Oh ! child , I am still working on orders. Lady is coming tomorrow to finalize her order and pick up. I was in the middle of a décor project for my daughter and dropped every thing for this lady. Hats off to you!!

I am all done also. I too set a deadline for making my own things, then I can do things for others if they need something. I always get my list done first. Left things to the last minute one year and have never done it again. I like to enjoy the holidays and not stress myself out.
