This is the center medallion block.The butterflies are 3 dimentional.They were done separately then stitched on the block with just a few stitches.The bows were traced on then stitched around the outline with more decorative stitches.The hearts were appliqued.

34 inches.I just had to go and measure it because I had forgotten.It is hanging in the wall of the spare bed room.
