I first bought some $1 candles to try. I botched a couple of them with too much heat. But then, I tweaked the process till I found what worked best for me. One thing was to very lightly spray with temporary adhesive and to iron the tissue paper. That give me the best design possible. Then to take your time and work as evenly as possible. I want to make many more. By the way, http://thegraphicsfairy.com/ is a wealth of free designs.

I am pleased that you like them. I attached a picture of the design. I used Picasa ( free program) to print it out to the size I wanted for the candle. Here's bunnyhop's post http://www.cuteembroidery.com/9429767_been-doing-few-cles-bee.html I like to iron my tissue paper and use a very small amount of spray adhesive to attach to the copy paper for printing. That makes the design that much clearer. But if you like a more rustic look, leave the wrinkles in the tissue paper. Thank you for posting the bee design from Embroidery Library. That's such a help for others who like the design.
